Morse (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the iOS application for learning Morse code (the “App”). This policy describes how we handle information when you use the App.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
The App stores your learning progress (for example: lesson position, practice stats, settings, and related data) on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). We do not operate a separate account system inside the App, and we do not routinely receive this on-device data on our servers. We may see information only if you choose to send it to us (for example, when you email support and attach details).
You can delete local progress from within the App where Delete local progress (or equivalent) is available.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate subscriptions and unlock Morse Pro features. RevenueCat may process identifiers and purchase status as described in the RevenueCat privacy policy.
We do not receive your full payment card number; Apple handles payment information.
If you are not a Morse Pro subscriber, the App may show advertisements using the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK. Google may collect and use data to deliver and measure ads, as described in Google’s Privacy & Terms and Google’s AdMob privacy resources. You can control tracking where Apple provides options (for example, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Morse Pro is intended to remove advertising surfaces in the App, as implemented in your installed version.
If you allow notifications, the App may schedule local reminders (for example, practice streaks) on your device. You can turn these off in iOS Settings → Notifications for Morse.
The App may record diagnostic or product events for improvement and troubleshooting. Unless we list a third-party analytics provider on this page or in App Store Connect, we do not intend to send your personal data to an external analytics service; confirm the App Privacy labels in the App Store listing for the build you installed.
If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you send (for example, your email address and message). We use that only to respond and to improve the App.
Where European or UK law applies, we rely on performance of a contract and legitimate interests to operate the App, show ads to non-subscribers where applicable, process subscriptions through Apple and RevenueCat, and handle support. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe we have collected a child’s personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Apple, RevenueCat, and Google may process data in countries where they operate. Their respective policies apply.
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
